Ingredion is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to support quality, food safety, and compliance initiatives across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring product integrity, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement through laboratory testing, process monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

As a Quality Analyst , you will coordinate quality activities that support all areas of the plant, performing analytical testing, maintaining compliance programs, investigating quality concerns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will help ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company standards while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What you will do

  •  Perform analytical laboratory testing to support plant operations and facilitate the release of finished products.
  •  Provide quality and analytical support during projects, product trials, process surveys, and operational initiatives through specialized testing and data analysis.
  •  Monitor, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established procedures.
  •  Identify, investigate, and support the resolution of in-process deviations, product nonconformances, and quality-related issues.
  •  Manage laboratory compliance activities, including proficiency programs, external laboratory sampling records, and documentation requirements.
  •  Conduct microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and wastewater compliance reporting in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  •  Participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits while supporting continuous improvement efforts that strengthen Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs.
  •  Maintain and update laboratory SOPs, testing methodologies, and quality documentation to meet evolving customer, business, and regulatory requirements.
  •  Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), food safety requirements, and company safety standards.

What you will bring

  •  Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field preferred.
  •  Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or laboratory operations within a manufacturing environment.
  •  Working knowledge of food safety principles, HACCP, GMPs, and quality management systems.
  •  Familiarity with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and ISO 22000 standards; lead auditor certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
  •  Experience with laboratory instrumentation and preventive maintenance programs, including HPLC, GC-MS, or similar analytical equipment, preferred.
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, Power BI, and other business systems.

Pay Range

$58,700.00-$78,300.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
