Position Summary

  • Set up and oversee the course web site and file-sharing platform
  • Assist instructors with identifying course materials
  • Assist instructors in identifying appropriate guest lecturers
  • Invite and schedule all guest lecturers
  • Attend all class sessions
  • Participate, as appropriate, in class discussions of course topics
  • Provide audiovisual support, as necessary, for course activities (e.g. student presentations)
  • Field student questions, either replying directly or referring to the instructors as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Upper-level PhD student
  • Familiarity with graduate program structures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in organizing schedules, file sharing strategies, etc
  • Strong engagement in graduate student-led organizations and initiatives.
