PURPOSE
- You will be a hands-on team player who can work independently, responsible for planning, managing, designing, developing, delivering and monitoring the data models for FWD countries across the Asia Pacific region
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and key insights relevant to business objectives
- Use statistical techniques and data mining methods to uncover valuable information from complex datasets
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Databrick AI/BI, Power BI, QlikView) to present data-driven insights to stakeholders
- Customize visualizations to meet specific business needs, ensuring clarity and usability
- Work with data engineers to define data requirements and specifications for ETL processes
- Validate and transform data to facilitate efficient analysis and reporting
- Address data integration issues and contribute to data infrastructure enhancements
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and objectives
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models
- Implement data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
- Conduct regular data quality checks and take corrective actions as necessary
- Create compelling visualizations and data-driven stories to communicate complex insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure visualizations adhere to best practices in data storytelling
- Provide training and support to business users on BI tools, enabling self-service analytics capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve BI tool-related issues as needed
- Propose and implement enhancements to existing BI processes and solutions
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- More than 3 years proven experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist, showcasing expertise in data analysis and BI tools
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Databrick AI/BI, Power BI, QlikView, or similar
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently
