Swift strives to operate in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and Swift’s Compliance team has the mission to make that happen. We’ve recently launched a major governance and regulatory change programme—so the team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced compliance professional who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and momentum to complex topics.

As Compliance Specialist – Conduct & Integrity, you’ll play a key role in supporting Swift’s employee declaration processes, while also contributing to the broader Conduct & Integrity framework . You’ll help translate conduct requirements into practical policies, processes, controls and reporting that are understood, operated and embedded across the organisation.

Role purpose

This role is primarily focused on supporting the effective operation and continuous improvement of Swift’s employee declaration processes and related conduct controls, while providing flexible support across the broader Conduct & Integrity framework.

Working closely with stakeholders across Compliance, HR, Legal and the business, you will help ensure that conduct requirements are translated into practical processes that are understood, operated and embedded across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Employee Declarations & Conduct Processes

  • Support the operation of employee declaration processes and related controls.
  • Provide first review and challenge of conflict-of-interest declarations, secondary activity declarations, gifts and hospitality disclosures, annual compliance attestations and other conduct-related submissions, escalating complex or high-risk matters where appropriate.
  • Coordinate information requests and follow-up activities with employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate records, registers and supporting documentation.

Conduct & Integrity Framework

  • Assist with the review and update of policies, standards, procedures and guidance relating to the Code of Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Declarations and other conduct-related frameworks as required.
  • Support the maintenance of documentation so that it remains aligned with regulatory expectations, industry practices and internal governance requirements.

Policy Implementation & Controls

  • Support the translation of policy requirements into practical processes, procedures and controls.
  • Help identify control gaps, improvement opportunities and process efficiencies.
  • Support the design, implementation and enhancement of conduct-related controls.
  • Assist with issue remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to audit, regulatory and assurance activities relating to conduct and integrity.

Monitoring, Reporting & Insights

  • Support the production of management information and reporting relating to conduct and integrity.
  • Support analysis of trends, themes and emerging risks.
  • Support the maintenance of conduct metrics and dashboards.
  • Escalate emerging concerns and significant issues as appropriate.
  • Support reporting to Compliance leadership, management committees and governance forums.

Training, Awareness & Communications

  • Support delivery of conduct-related awareness initiatives.
  • Assist with development of training content, communications, FAQs and employee guidance materials.
  • Contribute to initiatives that promote a culture of integrity, transparency and accountability across Swift.

Wider Compliance Support & Change Delivery

  • Support wider Compliance initiatives, projects and priorities as required, particularly where they relate to conduct, integrity, policy implementation, controls, reporting or regulatory change.
  • Support change and implementation activities as the Conduct & Integrity capability evolves, including process design, documentation, communications and embedding activities.

Experience & profile

  • 3–7 years’ experience in Compliance, Ethics & Conduct, Risk, Internal Controls, HR Compliance or a related discipline.
  • Experience reviewing employee disclosures, declarations or conduct-related matters preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated or governance-focused environment preferred.
  • Strong interest in ethics, conduct and organisational culture.
  • Ability to interpret policies and translate requirements into practical processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sound judgement.
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across Compliance, HR, Legal and the business.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to identify themes, trends and emerging risks.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in building and enhancing frameworks and processes.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience supporting process improvements, system changes, or operational enhancements would be an advantage.
