Retail Assistant - SS

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, motivated Retail Assistant to join the Crystal Joys team through our partnership with Sample Supports.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a positive, customer-focused environment. You'll help create a welcoming store experience while supporting day-to-day retail operations. Depending on business needs, you may also assist with product production, inventory, online orders, and other behind-the-scenes projects.

Employees in this position receive support and training from a Job Coach as part of their employment experience.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and create a warm, welcoming shopping experience
• Assist customers with products, questions, and purchases
• Operate the register and process cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store
• Learn about our products and confidently share information with customers
• Restock merchandise, label products, and update displays
• Support inventory tasks, including counting, organizing, and pricing products
• Assist with packing and fulfilling online orders as needed
• Help with opening and closing store responsibilities
• Assist with product production and other operational projects when needed
• Work alongside your Job Coach and store team to complete daily tasks
• Follow Crystal Joys policies, procedures, and branding standards
• Communicate with your supervisor and team regarding schedules and responsibilities
• Support additional projects and duties as assigned
