About The Role

Join our dedicated team as a Unit Leader at our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), where your leadership ensures that daily schedules, treatment plans, and care standards are met with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct group activities to ensure compliance with treatment schedules
- Monitor and report supply and curriculum needs for psychosocial programming
- Ensure staff are equipped with materials for therapeutic groups and activities
- Collaborate with medical, therapeutic, and educational departments for holistic care
- Document staff interactions, incidents, and resident progress
- Support direct care staff during emergencies or crises
- Attend staff meetings, supervision sessions, and coaching
- Transport residents or conduct agency business using personal or agency vehicles
- Promote cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and adherence to accreditation standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in human services preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential program; medical care center experience a plus
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards
- Completion of Safe Crisis Management training (or willingness to complete upon hire)

- Basic financial literacy and data analysis capabilities
- Commitment to trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Comfortable working in moderate noise levels and occasional outdoor conditions
