Communication Lead, GCK

Main Duties

  • Single Accountable Leader : Provides focused leadership for the "people and experience" side of workplace portfolio, complementing daily operations
  • Strategic Conduit : Acts as liaison with JLL's local, regional and global communities to bring industry insights and best practices back to refine workplace vision
  • Service Performance Ownership : Takes direct responsibility for JLL experience team delivery and performance, ensuring workplace services support talent attraction, retention and productivity
  • Brand Partnership : Maintains strong relationships with Westpac People to deliver seamless, high-quality workplace experiences that meet and exceed Westpac's service standards
  • Operational Translation : Serves as primary JLL partner to translate workplace strategy into practical, proactive programs and services
  • Team Development : Leads and coaches JLL Workplace teams including Concierge and Ambassadors, ensuring they represent the Westpac brand effectively across all sites
  • Performance Accountability : Establishes and reports on key experience metrics, taking direct responsibility for achieving shared goals around employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Experience Enhancement : Implements feedback tools, launches community initiatives, and co-develops 12-month strategic roadmap with measurable improvement targets
  • Ultimate Objective : Build capability, culture and service model to position Westpac workplaces as "#1 best workplace"

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, facilities management, business administration, or related field or commensurate experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality or facility management, with at least 3 years managing teams delivering workplace experience
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences in a corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of workplace trends and best practices in creating engaging office environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced working environment and versatility in meeting changing client needs and requirements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology platforms used in workplace management
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices
