Senior Planning Engineer Rail / Civil Infrastructure

• Job security with a Malaysian main contractor boasting a 30-year history of delivering construction and infrastructure projects.

• Well-planned projects utilizing new BIM and Primavera P6 technology to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Primavera P6 to manage programme development, updates, and progress tracking.
• Identify project delays and support Extension of Time (EOT) assessments through detailed programme analysis.
• Proactively flag risks and support the development and implementation of mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning for rail, infrastructure, or large-scale civil works.
• Recent experience must be with a main contractor.
• Be able to fast-track into a planning manager job in 6 months
• Experience working with government bodies, rail operators, or large infrastructure contractors.

About the Company & Project

• Major Malaysian main contractor (non-GLC).
• Currently hiring for a rail project involving track works, civil structures, signaling, electrification, and depots.
• The role reports to the Head of Planning, who has experience on MRT 1 & 2 projects.
