About The Role

Brisbane, Australia

At Aurecon, we are optimistic about the future. We are thinkers, solvers, and collaborators who work with our clients to deliver the infrastructure and assets that strengthen communities and create a sustainable future.

What will you do?

We are looking for a highly organised Team Administrator/Personal Assistant to assist the Queensland Water, Environment & Land Service Group Leader on daily activities and supporting the broader service group’s leadership team. It's an exciting time to join a well-established team, that continues to grow in the Market.

While you’ll need to tackle the traditional PA tasks such as diary and inbox management, credit card reconciliations, meeting coordination and minute taking, you will have the opportunity to work on Aurecon’s key initiatives and programs, manage and coordinate events, bring creativity and unconventional thinking to your work and showcase your ability to juggle changing and conflicting priorities. You will be an active learner, team player, strong communicator, natural networker and someone who truly enjoys helping people achieve their goals.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

  • Have a focus on detail as you will be a central coordination point for many of the leadership team’s activities
  • Be eager to learn, including Aurecon’s operational and reporting systems
  • Use the engagement skills that you have developed in your career to date to excel in this role
  • Identify the ways in which you can use your expertise as a Personal Assistant and as an individual to contribute to our vision and make your special mark on our team
  • Become a trusted partner by the leadership team and business

What can you bring to the team?

  • Previous experience in supporting senior leaders and the confidence in your ability to liaise with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders across different office locations
  • Proficient in MS Office apps
  • Strong attention to detail and quality outcomes
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a dynamic environment and have a flexible approach to work
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team

How we support your growth

We believe your career should be a rewarding adventure. You will tackle some of the world’s most complex infrastructure challenges, in an environment that supports your ambitions, where we hold ourselves, and each other, to the highest standards. Recognised by the AFR as a Best Place to Work in 2026, we embrace diverse perspectives, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact.

Who we are

We are an engineering consultancy with more than 6,000 people across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. We believe the world needs people who can engineer possibilities; people who can create infrastructure that makes life better for people and the planet. That is why we are here – to bring ideas to life, the Aurecon way.
