Job Summary

As a Buyer Expeditor II, you will be responsible for supplier order management, purchase order expediting, discrepancy resolution, and post-award contract administration activities. This role supports timely delivery, government compliance requirements, and effective communication between suppliers, customers, and internal teams in support of MAAC and other designated programs.

Requirements

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

  • Submit and maintain electronic purchase orders within established timeframes.
  • Expedite supplier purchase orders and communicate delivery status, delays, and schedule changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track and document supplier acknowledgments, discrepancies, commitments, and performance updates.
  • Resolve order, shipping, receiving, and documentation discrepancies with suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
  • Manage DCMA and DLA expediting reports and ensure timely status updates and reporting requirements are met.
  • Execute post-award contract administration activities, including WAWF & VSM submissions, Receiving Reports, SIR Transportation Requests, Duty-Free Entry (DFE) processing, source inspections, and other government compliance requirements.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, vendor registration, and maintenance of supplier records.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and contract file documentation by maintaining accurate records and retrieving required documentation.
  • Manage departmental discrepancy reports and coordinate corrective actions through resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in procurement, expediting, contract administration, logistics, or a related administrative role. Relevant military experience may be substituted.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with government contract administration activities such as WAWF, Receiving Reports, DFE, SIR Transportation Requests, source inspections, or DCMA/DLA reporting preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status required.

Salary Range: $ 41,500 - $53,400
