About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior BMS Service Technician to join our growing South Australian team. Working across our expanding Defence portfolio as well as a range of commercial and industrial sites, you'll play a key role in ensuring critical building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
This is a full-time field-based position offering a blend of technical challenge, autonomy, and career progression.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and fault-finding on Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Service and troubleshoot HVAC controls, lighting controls, and energy management systems
- Diagnose and repair BMS hardware, software, and communication issues
- Work with complex IT and IP-based control networks
- Prepare quotations and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and facility managers
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with technical support teams and project stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Utilise client portals and service management systems to manage and close out service activities
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, or related service environments
- Relevant qualifications in HVAC, Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Building Services
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, IP communications, switches, and system integration
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Current driver's licence
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Baseline minimum)
