We are seeking a Global Procurement Manager, Closures, Triggers & Lids to lead the global sourcing strategy for critical rigid packaging components, including closures, dispensing systems, triggers, pumps, caps, and lids. This strategic leadership role manages approximately $100 million in annual spend across multiple regions and supplier networks, driving value through cost optimization, innovation, sustainability, risk management, and supply assurance.

The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement professional with strong commercial acumen, global supplier management experience, and the ability to build effective partnerships across Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Sustainability functions.

In this role, you will

Category Strategy & Sourcing Leadership

  • Develop and execute multi-year global category strategies for closures, triggers, pumps, caps, and lids.
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, and sourcing initiatives to ensure optimal supplier portfolios.
  • Define supplier segmentation strategies and manage supplier relationships globally.
  • Drive strategic sourcing programs aligned with business needs and market dynamics.

Cost Optimization & Value Creation

  • Identify and implement cost savings opportunities, value engineering initiatives, and supplier consolidation strategies.
  • Support productivity programs while maintaining quality, service, and innovation standards.
  • Develop total-cost-of-ownership approaches to maximize long-term value.

Supplier Management & Strategic Negotiations

  • Lead complex global and regional commercial negotiations.
  • Manage supplier performance through KPIs focused on cost, quality, delivery, innovation, sustainability, and service.
  • Conduct business reviews and executive-level supplier meetings to strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Drive supplier innovation initiatives that support business growth and packaging enhancements.

Risk Management & Supply Continuity

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and business continuity plans across the supplier network.
  • Monitor market conditions, supplier health, and supply chain risks to proactively address disruptions.
  • Ensure a resilient and sustainable supply base capable of supporting global operations.

Cross-Functional Business Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Packaging, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Sustainability, and Finance teams.
  • Support innovation launches, packaging conversions, and product change initiatives.
  • Align procurement strategies with broader organizational goals and sustainability commitments.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience managing packaging-related categories, including plastics, closures, dispensing systems, rigid packaging components, or similar materials.
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations and managing multi-million-dollar spend categories.
  • Demonstrated success working in global or multi-regional environments.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and supplier performance management.
