This Summer internship is a 12 week program that will take place in-person at our factory in Jefferson City, MO.

What we are looking for

12-week learning journey
A student motivated to provide support and assistance to approximately 1000 manufacturing employees working on 3 different shift
Interest in gaining hands-on HR experience with a focus in the recruiting life-cycle of hourly production hiring
Data driven individual with excellent excel capabilities to collect and analyze data
Driven to learn and understand various open jobs to create job flyers and on-the job videos to support in the recruitment and hiring process
Continuous Improvement mindset with the ability to pivot and improves processes
Ability to problem solve and ensure follow up and resolution for employee issues

Your Background

Obtaining a bachelor’s or `master’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resources, Communications, Psychology)
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Ability to work across cultures.
Good conceptual and analytical thinking
Effective working within a team.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
