We are now hiring an Operations Supervisor at our Southaven, MS distribution center .
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated compensation pay range is $75,000 - $77,000 annually , plus an annual incentive bonus of up to 10% .
Actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
For internal teammates, a compensation percentage increase will be reviewed and determined in partnership with HR, taking into consideration internal equity and relevant experience.

Job Overview
The Operations Supervisor coordinates daily operations across multiple departments and business units within the distribution center.
This role provides hands on leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and customer focused execution across inbound and outbound operations, workforce planning, customer service, KPI performance, and teammate development.
The successful candidate is an organized, detail oriented, and self motivated leader who can build and develop cross functional teams, manage changing workloads and priorities, solve operational issues, and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, planning and allocation, picking, loading, dispatching, customer service, and related functions.
- Assign teammates and Team Leaders to specific operational functions based on business needs, including picking, replenishment, consolidation, loading, putaway, wave planning, CSR, dispatching, transportation communications, and other functions as needed.
- Establish work schedules and ensure assignments are effectively staffed, implemented, and completed.
- Monitor workflow and maximize operational efficiency through wave planning, shipment allocation, work release, customer service, queue management, transportation coordination, equipment availability, appointment scheduling, and dispatching.
- Analyze and resolve operational problems and assist teammates in resolving work related issues.
- Partner with the Operations Manager and other supervisors to maximize business efficiency and maintain operational performance.
- Ensure inbound and outbound loads are properly closed in JDA, CSW, and SAP on a daily basis.
- Maintain and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, providing root cause analysis and action plans when performance goals are not achieved.
- Oversee OSD error tracking and ensure information is accurately maintained, communicated, and resolved.
- Create and maintain a cross training matrix to ensure adequate coverage of critical operational functions.
- Coordinate closely with Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Transportation, and other cross functional teams.
- Develop teammates and Team Leaders through coaching, training, goal setting, and performance management.
- Promote accountability across the team while supporting a positive, productive, and safety focused work environment.
- Screen and hire warehouse teammates and ensure new and existing teammates receive appropriate training for their assigned functions.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment and warehouse machinery.
- Work with Operations leadership to develop and execute initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer quality, and teammate performance.
- Monitor distribution center performance and use root cause analysis to identify trends, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze and interpret data and reports generated from JDA, SAP, Power BI, CSW, SmartSolve, and other operational systems.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, peers, teammates, and internal and external contacts.
- Perform advanced analysis and resolve routine and complex operational inquiries.
- Support customer service activities and address customer service related issues as needed.
- Work mandatory overtime, including weekday and weekend hours, based on business needs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing a multifaceted warehouse, distribution, production, or similar operation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams.
- Experience developing, coaching, and holding teammates accountable for performance.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and people simultaneously.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and business priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate reports, identify issues and trends, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings to management.
- Self motivated, highly organized, creative, and enthusiastic team player with a strong passion for training and teammate development.
- Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated initiative.
- Preferred experience with continuous improvement concepts and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four year undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior SAP experience.
- Strong Warehouse Management System experience, preferably RedPrairie, JDA, or Blue Yonder.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, but not required.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies and establishing processes for ongoing improvement.
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to evaluate reports, identify issues and trends, and make recommendations to management.
