Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Senior in the Treasury specialist team. Working as a Senior in this team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist support to external audit teams, including derivative valuations, hedge accounting, and financial instrument classifications
  • Conducting risk management assessments including foreign exchange, interest rate, credit and commodities
  • Support the analysts working on onshore projects for the UK Accounting Advisory Services Team (AAS)
  • Work with UK AAS to deliver technical accounting responses to audit and client teams.
  • Assist with delivering Treasury advisory projects ranging from target operating models, policy, and process reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, thought leadership collateral and marketing material.
  • Conducting internal audits on treasury functions ranging from FTSE100 to Housing Associations and Charities, including benchmarking
  • Roles & responsibilities
  • Reviewing financial statement disclosures for international clients and performing a technical specialist role
  • Act as main point of contact for onshore department. Build strong relationship with onshore department /other key contacts in the UK AAS
  • Work with the manager to develop the business and enhance the skill set in the team for technical accounting.
  • Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members
  • Educational qualifications ​
  • Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)​
  • Additional certifications (if any)​
  • Work experience​
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm
