As a Senior Accountant - Sr Associate, you will focus on managing financial records, analyzing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful stakeholder connections, anticipate needs, and embrace increased ambiguity to deliver quality work. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and guide others.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Finance practice, focusing on providing financial advice and strategic guidance to clients. You will handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, helping clients optimize their financial performance and make informed business decisions. This position offers an opportunity to grow your personal brand and technical skills while navigating complex situations and inspiring others. You will be expected to uphold professional and technical standards, using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Managing financial records and conducting detailed data analysis to support decision-making
  • Assisting in compliance with accounting standards and providing accurate financial information
  • Handling financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management to optimize financial performance
  • Utilizing accounting and financial reporting standards to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial documentation
  • Performing account reconciliation and general ledger accounting to validate financial integrity
  • Collaborating with teams to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives

What You Must Have

  • Any Graduate
  • At least 4-9 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Journal entries, Reconciliations, Balance sheet analysis, P&L analysis, Advanced Excel, Pivot tables, Data validation and Large dataset analysis
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
  • Utilizing skills in Financial Accounting and General Ledger Accounting
  • The work requires: Process documentation , Supporting schedules , Review evidence , Internal controls and Audit-ready workpapers
  • Developing insights through critical thinking and data interpretation
  • Building meaningful client relationships and anticipating their needs
