As a participant in our 12-month Corporate Placements Programme in the Sustainability Department at our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Headquarters in Watford – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by contributing to the memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

- Salary & Benefits: £27,500 gross per annum & private healthcare.

Our Placement Opportunity
You will directly contribute to the Travel with Purpose (TWP) performance across our 750+ hotels in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The focus on sustainability and responsible business impact has grown significantly over the past 5 years, particularly in EMEA, with your work being an important contributor to Hilton remaining at the forefront of the hospitality industry, improving hotel performance through leveraging TWP, and increasing positive impact in the thousands of communities we are located in.
Some of the specific responsibilities you may be involved with are detailed as follows
- Support hotels through the TWP Pledges programme to help drive performance in EMEA.
- Develop monthly and quarterly communications that will be shared with the hotels, owners, and other key corporate partners.
- Coordinate hotel and corporate events within EMEA for enterprise-wide TWP initiatives, such as Earth Week and Travel with Purpose Week.
- Plan content for the quarterly EMEA TWP Champions Network updates.
- Undertake performance analytics and further develop EMEA PowerBI dashboards.
- Support with internal requests from EMEA stakeholders and, as necessary, work across the business to develop the solutions needed.
- Be flexible - the sustainability space is constantly changing and each day can bring new focuses and different opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who embody the Hilton Values in addition to the following criteria
- A strong sense of alignment to our culture and values.
- A current bachelor’s or master’s student completing a degree that includes a required 12-month year in industry placement.
- A current Bachelor's or Master's student studying a degree in or related to Environment Studies, Geography, Sustainability, Environmental Management, International Development, Sustainable Development, Climate Change/Systems, Earth Sciences or Hospitality.
- Availability to begin full-time employment on 5 th July 2027, for a full-time 12-month placement.
- You must have the independent right to work in the UK for the full duration of the 12-month placement. Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, so we are unable to consider applications from candidates who would require sponsorship. If you hold a visa or status that allows you to work in the UK full-time without sponsorship (e.g. Settled Status, Pre-Settled Status, where a 12-month work placement is a permitted, required & assessed part of your UK University degree, or other independent work permissions), you are welcome to apply.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- An ability to demonstrate a significant passion for sustainability and social impact.
- A resilient mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise.
- IT skills - Excel and PowerBi knowledge would be beneficial.
- The ability to analyse large data sets and take the initiative to identify priorities and make recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to provide a simple explanation of sustainability and environmental matters to non-technical colleagues.
