Event Manager - Marketing Communications

About The Role
- Lead end-to-end event management, including event concept, planning, venue sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, execution and post-event debriefing.
- Own event project plans, timelines, materials and budgets, ensuring cost control, high-quality delivery and smooth on-site coordination.
- Manage event operations proactively, including stakeholder alignment, supplier management, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of event formats and experiences.
- Ensure events are fully integrated into broader marketing campaigns, brand positioning and lead-generation activities.
- Strengthen the company’s brand presence and positioning of technologies, products, services and projects in international markets.
- Coordinate and further develop our corporate merchandise and corporate wear supporting our corporate identity internally and externally.
- Define and maintain event management processes, workflows, templates, documentation and quality standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support business teams and ensure all communication and event outputs are on-brand, technically accurate and aligned with corporate design standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field, with strong proven experience in corporate event management.
- Solid experience in planning and delivering end-to-end events, including concept development, venue sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, execution and post-event follow-up.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing event timelines, detailed project plans, budgets, suppliers and multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to ensure smooth on-site event execution, including coordination, troubleshooting, quality control and handling last-minute changes.
- Experience integrating events into broader Marketing Communications campaigns, brand positioning and lead-generation activities.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several events, priorities and deadlines in parallel while maintaining attention to detail.
- Very good stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with internal teams, external partners, suppliers and agencies in an international environment.
- Native German or English with business fluency in the other language; additional languages, especially French or Italian, are an advantage.
