Position Summary

The National Accounts Sales Executive is responsible for growing sales of MAX Sign & Marking Products throughout the United States and Canada. This role focuses on developing new end-user accounts, expanding the dealer network, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting dealers and customers after the sale.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, relationship-focused, and comfortable identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, customer visits, trade shows, and other direct sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and maintain a target list of prospective end users
  • Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling and prospecting, to generate new business opportunities
  • Introduce MAX products to prospective customers and schedule and conduct product demonstrations
  • Develop and execute sales promotions and marketing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales within new and existing accounts

Dealer Development & Support

  • Develop and expand the MAX dealer network
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing dealers
  • Train dealer sales representatives on MAX products
  • Identify key dealer personnel and implement targeted sales and promotional initiatives
  • Visit end users alongside dealer sales representatives to promote MAX products and increase sales
  • Respond promptly and professionally to dealer and customer questions and requests

Customer & Product Support

  • Provide product support and troubleshooting assistance to dealers and end users
  • Deliver effective product demonstrations and sales presentations
  • Provide continued support to customers following the sale
  • Partner with Engineering to conduct field testing and product evaluations as needed

CRM & Reporting

  • Use Salesforce daily to document sales calls, email campaigns, customer interactions, opportunities, and other sales activity
  • Submit expense reports, trade show reports, dealer visit reports, customer follow-up letters, and other required documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate customer, sales, and market information

Travel & Trade Shows

  • Travel throughout the United States and Canada to visit dealers and end users
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to demonstrate MAX products and generate qualified sales leads
  • Conduct in-person customer visits and product demonstrations as required

Additional Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Office Manager to assist with the collection of past-due accounts
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Follow all MAX company policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • At least two years of B2B sales experience, preferably within industrial products, labeling, marking, or a related industry
  • Experience with outbound sales, cold calling, prospecting, and business development
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management system

Skills

  • Strong communication, prospecting, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations and deliver effective sales presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel throughout the United States and Canada as required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel by air

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Salary - $70,000 - $85,000/year
