GCCT Administrative Sales Support & Office Coordinator

Key Responsibilities Include

GCCT

  • Answer incoming communications (fax, phone calls, emails, mail) to support and manage customer enquiries and to support efficient order fulfillment.
  • Provide Rock Reinforcement & Construction Chemical team with a full range of administrative support.
  • Maintain ERP master data for customers and vendors including stocking levels, pricing and lead times.
  • Proactively maintain demand planning, inventory levels and successful on-time delivery of Rock Reinforcement & Construction Chemical Business Line products based on sales forecasts by coordinating manufacturing internally and through third parties.
  • Ensure specifications of final products meet the Normet standards for distribution to end users.
  • Resolve challenges, provide solutions and collaborate with suppliers and others to troubleshoot and rectify issues.
  • Evaluate Vendor performance using assigned KPI’s.
  • Process supply chain requirements including purchasing, and cost management.
  • Locate alternative vendors, materials, equipment or supplies as needed.
  • Coordinates with logistics to arrange shipping and communicate detailed instructions, and coordinates receiving activities.
  • Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Communicate forecasts and supply chain performance.
  • Share inventory updates and communicate any changes to customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of Rock Reinforcement & Construction Chemical Business Line processes and procedures.
  • Works cohesively with other business lines, including global colleagues and stakeholders.

Office/Warehouse Coordinator

  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures and performing clerical functions.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Engages local office staff by organizing events including holiday celebrations, lunches, community involvement, sponsorships, etc.
  • Point person for building maintenance, mailing, shipping, procurement of office supplies and equipment, invoice and bill payment for the local facilities and services, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Financials

  • Follow all financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper accounting approvals are received.

Stakeholder Management

  • Customer-focused to positively support the growth of Normet
  • Customers include both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to conduct work professionally

HSEQ – Health, Safety, Environment and Quality

  • Complies with all Normet policies regarding HSEQ
  • Active participant in ensuring Normet operations and products support HSEQ initiatives

Personal Responsibility

  • Maintain compliance to Normet Values, & Normet Policies and Procedures
  • Continuous improvement journey with behaviors supporting improved product knowledge, learning and development, and competency training
  • Active contributor and team member in the North American Sales Area.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Customer service experience
  • Mining industry experience a plus
  • High School Graduate
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Capacity to operate in a demanding environment with competing priorities

  • An elevated level of responsiveness, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Detail orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer acumen

Additional Information

  • At times, the role will be required to undertake tasks outside of this position description. Taking into consideration the relevant skills and experience at the request of the reporting manager
  • This role is to have a normal work week in accordance with regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 40 hours. There may be weekends or longer hours depending on role activities
  • Must already have valid work authorization for Canada.
