About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager, Costing to play a key role in the Costing Team. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance the existing costing model and reporting processes, partner closely with Group and business/support units, and support initiatives that improve the quality, timeliness, and usefulness of management information.
Key Responsibilities
- System maintenance: Maintain, review, and enhance the SAS CPM costing model to support reliable management reporting and analysis.
- Reporting preparation: Prepare and deliver timely management reports to Group and business/support units, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear presentation of key information.
- Business support: Coordinate and respond to management information requests from Group and business/support units, including analysis, clarification, and follow-up where required.
- Continuous improvement: Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives to streamline reporting processes, improve data quality, and enhance stakeholder experience.
- Operational planning: Support and drive annual operational planning activities and related corporate initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI for data preparation, modelling, analysis, and reporting is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to translate data into practical insights.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to foster teamwork across internal and external groups.
- Open to cross-functional roles and job rotation opportunities.
