We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Financial Advice team at Marsh as a Senior Comprehensive Financial Adviser working in our Perth office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Comprehensive Financial Adviser – Marsh Financial Advice

Marsh Financial Advice is a Comprehensive advice business and is known as a leader in the financial planning industry. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to service an established client base while continuing to build and grow long-term client relationships through referrals and business development opportunities.

We are seeking a Senior Comprehensive Financial Adviser with leadership skills as we’re looking to expand and grow our presence in WA. Our strong relationships with our existing employer groups including our dedicated client executives have seen our business grow and offers an opportunity for the right candidate to help grow our WA footprint.

Our Financial advisers specialise and provide full Comprehensive advice in all areas of advice including

  • Superannuation
  • Retirement planning
  • Investment advice
  • SMSF advice
  • Defined benefit

At Marsh Financial Advice, we help clients achieve their financial goals through personalised advice and comprehensive planning, delivering tailored solutions that align with each client’s needs and aspirations.

We will count on you to

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients’ goals, risk tolerance and financial circumstances.
  • Advise high-net-worth clients on investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance and other financial products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication.
  • Analyse client financial data and collaborate with accountants, lawyers and tax specialists to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Stay current with market trends, financial products and regulatory changes while meeting business development and compliance targets.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Advice, Business or a related field; CFP, CFA or equivalent highly preferred.
  • 5–7+ years’ experience in financial advisory or wealth management, including managing high-net-worth portfolios.
  • Deep technical knowledge of investment products, financial markets, tax laws and retirement planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software (Xplan) and CRM systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced or specialist credentials beyond core qualifications (e.g., SMSF accreditation, advanced tax/estate planning).
  • Demonstrated track record advising high-net-worth individuals and delivering bespoke wealth strategies.
  • Prior leadership skills and contribution to growth in business.
