Are you a driven student with a passion for clinical research and data excellence? Join Parexel's dynamic Clinical Operations team as an Associate Clinical Research Nurse and gain hands-on experience in one of the world's leading clinical research organizations.

In this role, you'll support critical clinical trial operations, contribute to quality-driven processes, and work alongside experienced professionals who are committed to advancing patient care through rigorous data management and analysis.

This is a great opportunity for students to gain experience in the world of clinical trials.

This is a 12-month, part-time contract: 16 hours per week (+25%)

This role is fully office-based in Berlin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Admit and orientate study participants within the Unit and deliver study specific presentation
  • Perform acquisition of ECG and blood pressure measurements
  • Stick the blood containers, fill and make ready the study material, clear up on the ward, hygienic work, maintenance of medical devices
  • Perform venipuncture and cannulation for blood sampling
  • Prepare required devices and study participants for Holter/Telemetry monitoring as per protocol requirements
  • Obtain urine and fecal collections as per protocol requirements
  • Use of psychological and physiologic test procedures
  • Preparation of the documents needed for the tests (copy work, enter head data in the Case Report Forms, data transfer)
  • Assist in compiling appropriate responses to internal and sponsor data queries and audit observations in a timely manner
  • Participation in internal meetings as required
  • Undertake any tasks that your line manager/Department Head may require from you within your scope of work.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Currently pursuing a nursing or medical degree or equivalent qualification

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent German and good written and oral English proficiency
  • Proficient with Windows Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Flexibility with shift work (early, late, night shifts)
  • Availability for weekend and holiday work
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
