The Chemical Operator is responsible for performing duties within the Emulsions/Biocide Department to produce high-quality products in sufficient quantities while following company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate reactors, mixing tanks, and holding tanks in the production of emulsions and biocide products.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Package finished products and prepare materials for shipment.
  • Support raw material unloading, inventory control, warehouse operations, and product shipment activities within the plant.
  • Complete production documentation, process paperwork, and execute SAP transactions accurately and timely.
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
  • Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned to support department and plant operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and around chemicals.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and production equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn SAP transactions.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, chemical processing, warehouse, or production experience.
  • Experience with SAP or other inventory/production management systems.

  • Duties will include operating dispensing equipment, including valves, pumps, flow meters, level detection, filters, scales, labeling materials, forklifts, process monitoring equipment.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $52,740.00 and $77,352.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
