Project Management and Delivery Director

About The Role
Lead the organization’s Project Management and Delivery function, ensuring that the project and program portfolio is aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and priorities and delivered predictably, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Project Management Directorate strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives and long-term priorities
- Lead the organization’s project and program portfolio, including prioritization, dependency management, investment decisions, and value realization
- Partner with executive leadership to develop business cases, investment proposals, roadmaps, objectives, and OKRs
- Establish and oversee unified project/program governance, methodologies, standards, reporting, and control mechanisms
- Align value streams, architectural dependencies, and external partnerships to ensure end-to-end organizational coherence and seamless delivery
- Ensure predictable delivery by overseeing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, quality, risks, dependencies, and expected outcomes
- Ensure sustainable delivery through continuous improvement of processes, tools, operational readiness, and post-go-live stability
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular, data-driven reporting and recommendations to executive leadership
- Align priorities and dependencies across project, product, technology, and operations teams
- Lead strategic transformation and change initiatives, ensuring stakeholder engagement, adoption, and benefits realization
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive process improvement, redesign, and automation initiatives
- Lead resource planning, allocation, capacity management, and performance oversight across the Directorate
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, including leadership of large-scale and complex initiatives
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level portfolios, strategic dependencies, budgets, and investment priorities
- Strong experience with large-scale Agile frameworks such as
SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent
- Strong commercial experience, including presales scope, contract and SLA management, and transition to operational teams.
- Experience with portfolio/value-stream management, roadmap visualization, and performance analytics at scale
- Strong experience working with Jira, Confluence, BigPicture, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Power BI or equivalent reporting/financial tools
- Strong knowledge of enterprise portfolio management and strategic dependency architecture
- Advanced understanding of portfolio- and value-stream-level Agile practices.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate business strategy into portfolio and delivery priorities
- Visionary leadership and ability to provide direction in complex and uncertain environments
- Systems thinking and ability to assess cross-functional business, product, technology, and operational impacts
