About The Role

The Recruiter supports Enterprise Electrical’s continued growth by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for field, office, and leadership roles across a multi-state workforce. This role partners closely with hiring managers, field leadership, and HR to attract, assess, and hire high-quality talent in a fast-paced commercial electrical construction environment.

The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in building strong teams that directly support project execution and long-term business success.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following

  • Serve as a recruiting partner for hiring managers, field leadership, and department heads.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
  • Recruit for a wide range of roles including Journeymen, Apprentices, Foremen, Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, and corporate support positions.
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate technical skills, experience, culture fit, availability, and alignment with project needs.
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing strategies including job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Promote and manage the employee referral program in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding candidate pipelines, hiring timelines, and market conditions.
  • Ensure a professional, consistent, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the applicant tracking system and ensure the recruitment tracker is consistently updated with current candidate and requisition status.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and efficiency.
  • Track and support recruiting metrics such as time to fill, source effectiveness, and quality of hire.
  • Assist with workforce planning efforts in coordination with operations and project leadership.
  • Support the Director of Talent Acquisition with special initiatives, projects, or strategic recruiting efforts as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting within construction, skilled trades, electrical contracting, or industrial environments.
  • Experience supporting high-volume and multi-state hiring.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and a high level of emotional intelligence when communicating with individuals at all levels, including during high-pressure or sensitive situations.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, and calendar management skills with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and being punctual and prepared for meetings.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based with periodic travel to networking and hiring events as needed.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work to support hiring demands.
