About Us

At UniSuper, we're focused on helping our members achieve better retirement outcomes. With a culture grounded in genuine care, collaboration and a passion for outcomes, we're building a future-focused organisation where people can do meaningful work and make a real difference.

The UniSuper Advice Business Unit operates as a Centre of Excellence, bringing together advice, education, guidance, digital advice, professional wealth management and external adviser partnerships. Our Member Education team plays a key role in helping members build confidence, improve financial wellbeing and make informed decisions through engaging one-to-many education experiences.

This is a rare opportunity to focus on the part of the role many financial services professionals enjoy most, engaging with people, delivering education and helping members better understand their superannuation and retirement options.

This Perth-based opportunity is offered on a 0.4 FTE basis and may suit an experienced superannuation, advice or member education professional looking for flexibility.

The role

The key focus of this role is delivering engaging one-to-many direct-to-member education experiences that build financial capability, answer key member questions and support meaningful action.

You'll be part of UniSuper's dedicated member education channel, delivering webinars, seminars and events that help members build financial confidence and retirement readiness.

While the position is offered on a 0.4 FTE basis (approximately two days per week), we understand that member education doesn't always fit neatly into standard working patterns. Webinars, seminars and education sessions may occur across different days and times, and we're open to discussing flexible ways of structuring the role that work for both you and the team.

In this role you will

  • Deliver engaging one-to-many member education experiences through webinars, seminars and events, both in person and virtually.
  • Deliver education and learning pathways across retirement planning and financial wellbeing.
  • Present education focused on retirement readiness, investment literacy, contributions and wealth building, super fundamentals, insurance and protection,
  • ehavioural decision-making and knowing when to seek advice.
  • Partner with Marketing & Growth to support member engagement and personalised learning pathways.
  • Support the Advice education strategy and create pathways into General Advice and Personal Advice channels where appropriate.
  • Measure education effectiveness and continuously improve content, delivery and member outcomes.

About you

You are an experienced superannuation, advice, education or presentation professional who enjoys engaging groups and helping people understand complex concepts in a simple, accessible way.

This opportunity may suit someone looking for greater flexibility, balancing other commitments, transitioning towards retirement, or seeking an opportunity to continue making an impact without a traditional full-time workload.

You will bring

  • Experience delivering education, presentations, workshops, seminars or webinars within superannuation, financial services or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for helping people understand complex concepts and build confidence in their decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences both virtually and face-to-face.
  • The ability to explain complex superannuation concepts in clear, simple and accessible language.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • RG146 accreditation (essential).
  • Financial Planning qualifications in addition to RG146 advantageous.
  • A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Perth region when required.

A Note About Flexibility

This role is offered on a 0.4 FTE basis and we recognise that many candidates may have other professional or personal commitments. We welcome applications from individuals seeking flexibility; however, any external employment, consulting, business interests or related activities would need to be reviewed in line with UniSuper's conflicts of interest obligations and role requirements.
