We are looking for a senior business analyst for an upcoming project. Please see the description below for what we are looking for. We would like to have someone start as soon as possible.

Role Overview

We are seeking an autonomous, driven, and highly articulate Senior Technical Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in designing and delivering a next-generation web platform. Operating in a high-velocity environment with tight timelines, you will serve as the bridge between business strategy, user experience, and technical execution.

This is not a traditional passive requirements-gathering role. You must be comfortable taking high-level, ambiguous concepts, conducting independent research, and translating them into tangible visual mockups, detailed user stories, and actionable technical specifications—all with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategy & Visual Discovery: Take raw product concepts and independently create wireframes, UI mockups, and process flow diagrams to guide discussions with executive leadership and volunteer/stakeholder groups.
  • Lead Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and working sessions independently. Communicate complex technical workflows clearly to non-technical business partners.
  • Independent Research & Problem-Solving: Conduct market research, system analysis, and competitive benchmarking to determine optimal features, information architecture, and UI/UX patterns for the platform.
  • Technical Backlog Management: Translate high-level business goals into precise, actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria (using Jira/Azure DevOps) for engineering teams.
  • Define Access & Hierarchy Architecture: Analyze complex organizational structures, roles, and privileges to design robust role-based access control (RBAC) and content governance models.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate daily with solution architects, UI/UX designers, project managers, and third-party vendor teams to capture any requirement or design dependencies.
  • Autonomous Execution: Proven track record of operating independently in fast-paced environments with steep completion targets and minimal day-to-day guidance.
  • Prototyping & Visualizing Tools: Hands-on experience using wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, or Visio) to visualize ideas and drive stakeholder consensus.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills with demonstrated success in translating technical concepts for business leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Web & Technical Aptitude: 6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting web platforms, Content Management Systems (CMS), API integrations, or enterprise software implementations.
  • Data & Access Modeling: Familiarity with role-based permissions, user entity hierarchies, and content governance workflows.
