Job Description

AriensCo is looking for a Regional Sales Director to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships in the South/Mid-Atlantic region . The position leads sales and channel development activities, establishes sales goals and territories, analyzes market trends and competitive activity, and partners with key customers to identify opportunities and close business. In addition, this role oversees sales team performance, coaching, and development while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure exceptional customer service, operational alignment, and achievement of business objectives.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Plan and direct sales and service programs to promote new markets, improve competitive position in area, and provide fast and efficient customer service; sets sales performance goals accordingly
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates; Reviews articles in trade publications to keep abreast of new industry technologies and developments
  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in sales; manages training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales outcome
  • Direct channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Assign and monitors sales territories; Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion; Advise field and inside sales personnel on issues impacting sales or concerning possible techniques to improve closing rates
  • Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives; Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales related units
  • Analyze and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
  • Recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to lead others in a sales role
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Use of Microsoft Dynamic CRM
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Estimated 50% overnight travel required
  • Participation and completing all required training
  • Basic financial aptitude – Pricing, Margins and Profitability.
  • Knowledge of power equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a re mote setting
  • Ability to properly forecast (SIOP)
