What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our Pediatrics healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during procedures. Responsibiliti es include, but are not limited to:

Ensures age/developmen tally appropriate peri-operative and anesthesia care is provided in accordance with age-specific care guidelines for the specific age groups served and any present c o-morbidities.
Supports patient safety, quality improvement and infection prevention when performing his or her job functions and through participation in facility and departmental initiatives.
Appropriately documents and maintains confidential records according to departmental and hospital standards.
Maintains flexibility with scheduling, promptness and readiness to provide patient care as needed.
Demonstrates professionalis m through teamwork and collaboration and seeks ongoing professional educational growth.
Conserves resources to address cost containment.

CRNA Requirements

Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or Higher Required.
Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing + Currently Certified or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board
Current CPR Certification - ACLS, BLS
Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.
