About The Role

Resource Innovations is seeking an Incentive Processing & Accounting Specialist to join our growing team in Murray, UT . We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Incentive Processing & Accounting Specialist with a strong background in transaction processing, reconciliation, and accounting operations to join our dynamic team. As an Incentive Processing & Accounting Specialist you will support both our Incentive Processing and Accounting Teams by assisting with incentive batching and fulfillment activities, performing bank and accounts payable reconciliations, fulfilling 1099 and escheatment requirements, researching and resolving discrepancies, and helping ensure accurate and timely processing of customer incentive payments. This hybrid role will play an important part in maintaining efficient payment operations, strong financial controls, and accurate accounting records across our programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports incentive processing and fulfillment activities, including preparing, reviewing, and processing incentive batches to help ensure customer payments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Performs bank and accounts payable reconciliations, researches variances, and resolves discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records and strong financial controls.
  • Reviews incentive payment data and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established processes prior to payment fulfillment.
  • Coordinates with Incentive Processing, Accounting, and other internal teams to identify and resolve payment, reconciliation, and transactional issues in a timely manner.
  • Assists with the end-to-end incentive payment process, including batching, payment preparation, fulfillment activities, and related accounting support.
  • Investigates unreconciled transactions, payment exceptions, and other discrepancies, documenting findings and helping drive issues through resolution.
  • Maintains accurate records and supporting documentation to facilitate financial reporting, audit readiness, and internal control requirements.
  • Monitors assigned processing and reconciliation activities to help ensure deadlines, service expectations, and operational requirements are consistently met.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency across incentive processing and accounting workflows.
  • Provides cross-functional support to the Incentive Processing and Accounting teams, helping maintain business continuity and flexibility during periods of high volume or changing operational needs.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, payment processing, financial operations, incentive processing, or a related transactional environment.
  • Experience performing bank, accounts payable, general ledger, or other financial reconciliations, including researching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience working with formulas, filters, lookups, and large data sets.
  • Experience reviewing and processing high-volume financial or transactional data while following established procedures and internal controls.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with incentive, rebate, accounts payable, payment fulfillment, or utility program operations.
  • Experience supporting month-end close, audit documentation, account reconciliations, or financial reporting processes.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $35,000-$47,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
