We are looking for a dynamic Factory Digital Lead to serve as a catalyst for innovation and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be the driving force behind identifying, implementing, and supporting the next generation of factory floor digital tools and automation. Working hand-in-hand with diverse cross-functional partners, you will align technological solutions with real-world factory needs. What are we looking for?

Minimum

  • Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3–5+ years of experience working within a manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environment.
  • Proven track record of implementing digital tools, software, or automation systems on a factory floor.
  • Experience managing projects within strict constraints of scope, time, budget, and cash flow.
  • Strong familiarity with factory-floor devices and hardware integration (handhelds, industrial tablets, sensors, edge devices).
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing frameworks and compliance standards (HSE, Quality & Food Safety (QFS)).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach, train, and build digital capability among frontline associates.Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence cross-functional peers without direct authority.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a technical manufacturing environment
  • Prior Experience within change management
  • Project Management experience or leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems networks including factory networks, distributed control systems, IoT, control devices, and hand-held electronic devices
  • Strong experience with implementing and managing manufacturing and data analytics digital tools. (Such as Power BI, Power Automate, ZPI, digital forms, data lakes, SAP, etc.)

Preferred

  • Master's Degree or specialized certifications in Digital Transformation, Smart Manufacturing, or Project Management (PMP).
  • 6+ years of experience in a dedicated Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or OT (Operational Technology) role.
  • Experience working in a multinational consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food manufacturing environment (e.g., familiar with Mars-like scale).
  • Deep understanding of AI technology, advanced analytics, and machine learning applied to manufacturing process optimization.
  • Experience utilizing digital systems to support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and reliability engineering.
  • Change management experience (Prosci or equivalent) with a track record of driving high-adoption rates for new digital workflows.
  • Experience acting as a key liaison between local site operations and regional/global corporate program teams.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Own the site-level Digital & Automation Masterplan, defining a long-term strategic vision and identifying transformation opportunities with clear ROI.
  • Identify, deploy, and maintain aligned digital tools on factory-floor hardware and edge devices to optimize daily operations.
  • Partner with Reliability and TPM Engineers to analyze manufacturing losses and implement targeted digital or AI-driven solutions.
  • Drive site-level execution of Mars' Global Digitalization Program as the primary point of contact for regional workstreams.
  • Upskill and coach factory teams on digital tools, building associate capability and ensuring high user adoption.
  • Establish clear operating standards and best practices to ensure consistent and compliant usage of digital tools.
  • Deliver digital and automation projects on-time, in-scope, and within budget and cash flow targets.
  • Safeguard site compliance by leveraging digital tools to meet critical HSE, QFS, and MSE standards.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology with daily plant needs.
  • Balance site-level technical support with strategic project management and continuous personal development.
