Bin Auditor

About The Role
- We are looking for a Bin Auditor based at our branch in Christchurch. 
- Key responsibilities will include
- Audit recycle bins for contamination
- Removal of bins that have been contaminated numerous times around the City
- Unloading waste collection vehicles on return to the depot or other nominated facility to make sure all products are placed in the correct bay/sorting area
- Assisting in the cleaning and general maintenance of vehicles 
- Ensuring daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment are carried out 
- To be successful in this role
- You will be physically fit and strong, and able to work in wet or sunny conditions. 
- Our ideal candidate will have
- Class 1 driver’s licence and experience in operating vehicles in congested areas; e.g. confident with reversing and going into narrow streets even with trailers
- Competent use of trailer
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Understanding of operating procedures
- Self-motivated
- Have a strong Health & Safety focus
