About The Role
The Electronic Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and repairing electronic assemblies and components to support customer repair requirements. This role applies engineering drawings, schematics, test equipment, and established procedures to evaluate product functionality, identify defects, and perform repairs that meet quality and customer specifications.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $55,600 to $76,450 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications
What You Will Do in This Role
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic circuits, assemblies, and products.
- Read, interpret, and review technical blueprints, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Perform functional testing and verification of repaired products.
- Evaluate defective components and make technical assessments regarding repairability and root cause.
- Document repair activities, test results, and findings in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs in SAP ERP Systems (RMS will be phased out), troubleshooting activities, and customer feedback.
- Utilize electronic test equipment and hand tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering equipment, and other industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production personnel to resolve technical issues and assist with customer repair needs.
- Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures while meeting efficiency and turnaround objectives.
- Continuous improvement: Identify process gaps to improve repair processes and product reliability and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Productivity – repair throughput, labor efficiency, units repaired, processed
- Quality – First-time pass rate, repeat failure rate, maintain repair records, documentation
- Service & Delivery – turnaround time, OTD, Backlog management
- Technical performance – RCA, Diagnostic accuracy, training & certification compliance, and sustainability
- Safety Compliance – Maintain a safe work environment, safe work practices, and zero safety incidents

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift packages to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, and walking in warehouse areas.
- Visual acuity to inspect electronic assemblies and components.
- Ability to work safely in a repair center and warehouse environment. Extended periods of computer work for documentation and tracking.
