What You'll Be Doing
- Operate a water truck to control dust and support safe quarry operations.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Monitor haul roads, plant areas, and work zones to ensure adequate dust suppression.
- Follow all safety procedures, traffic patterns, and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and equipment operators to support production goals.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify operational concerns.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced production setting.
- Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
