About the role

As a Project Manager - Data Center Castrol On, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects within Castro Oil UK Ltd, specifically supporting the Castrol On brand. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, construction principles, and a commitment to HSSE excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
  • Lead and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate and run external suppliers and contractors, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Implement and make sure robust Project and Construction Safety and Project HSSE standards throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct thorough requirements management, translating business needs into technical specifications for data center infrastructure.
  • Drive design development and delivery processes, collaborating with engineering and operations teams.
  • Handle project commissioning activities, ensuring systems are tested, verified, and ready for operation.
  • Proactively handle partner relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and progress.
  • Apply various frameworks and methodologies to optimize project delivery and develop continuous improvement.
  • Perform effective conflict management to resolve disputes and maintain positive team dynamics.
  • Run sourcing activities for project materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.

Job Qualifications

  • Confirmed experience in project management, specifically within data center construction or similar complex infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Cost Estimating, Schedule and Resources management, and Sourcing Management.
  • Strong understanding of Design development and deliver processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project and construction safety and Project HSSE regulations and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Risk Management and Requirements Management.
  • Experience with Project Commissioning and Project execution planning.
  • Excellent Partner Management and Supplier Management skills.
  • A strong ability in Conflict Management.
  • Familiarity with various Frameworks and methodologies for project delivery.
