About The Role

The Crisis Service Technician is a professional who in coordination with the Crisis Svcs Counselor provides crisis management; information; follow-up referrals; and discharge planning to patients and families who present in the Emergency Center with a wide variety of psychiatric, chemical addiction, and psych-social problems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychosocial/Mental Health field or other degrees with like curriculums

Preferred Qualifications

  • Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) - State of Washington
  • 1 year psychiatry and/or chemical dependency experience in a health care setting
  • 1 year experience in the area of crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills
