Job Description Summary
The batter mixing attendant is responsible for assuring proper mixing of batter and proper volume of batter through the control and use of the mixing and measuring equipment. They will perform sanitation duties during run days and on weekend cleanups.

Duties and Responsibilities
Individuals in this position must
- Monitor and control viscosity in the primary tanks, holding tanks, applicators and receiver.
- Understand the batter equipment and its operation
- Help assist batter leader when unavailable
- Help train new employees in the batter mixing attendant position
- Stay at workstation when the Batter Lead is not in the batter area. Batter leads will relieve batter mixing attendants for their breaks.
- Relieve line 2 applicator and or heat exchanger utility for break.
- Perform equal and/or lower rated job duties as assigned by Team Leader personnel.
- Help move batter totes with the walkie lift when needed or directed.
- Document viscosity, equipment settings, and batter inventory information
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Clean equipment designated by the Batter leader or Team Leader during breaks in the line.
- Keep equipment in area of responsibility clean.
- Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.

- Must be able to sit, stand, walk and climb.
- Must have good eye-hand coordination.
- Must have normal finger dexterity and range of motion.
- Is required to reach with his/her hands and arms repetitively.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on frequent basis.
- Must be able to push and pull heavy items on occasion.
- Must have specific vision abilities, which include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to use a computer
Work Environment

- Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts.
- Will frequently be exposed to moderately cold surroundings.
- Will occasionally be exposed to humid conditions as well as moderate heat.
- May occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
- Will frequently be exposed to dust & batter allergies.
- Will regularly work in an environment in which the noise level is loud.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate for this role is listed below.
Pay Rate or Range: $23.05
