What You Will Do

  • Minimum of 5 years of project, job cost or construction accounting experience, including time in a senior role
  • Hands-on job costing, progress billings and standard labour costing in the U.S. and Canada
  • Working knowledge of multi-entity and intercompany accounting, U.S. sales and use tax, and Canadian GST/PST
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and WIP reporting
  • Acumatica experience is an asset; CPA designation or working toward is an asset
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups and macros)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • A positive, self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to cope with change in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving skills
  • Advanced excel skills is beneficial (Pivot tables & macros)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high quality of work
  • Self-starter and the ability to work cooperatively and independently
  • Ability to learn quick and be able to understand multiple conversion rates as well as adapt to industry knowledge

Salary Range

$85,000 - $95,000 Per Year
