About the Role

The role leads Hyderabad-based Planning & Analysis support for US Corporate Functions and legal entities, with accountability for the quality, timeliness, controls, and continuous improvement of all deliverables. The position manages one Analyst and partners closely with US stakeholders, country teams, and centres of expertise to support planning, month-end close, legal entity management, reporting, and business decision-making. A key focus of the role is driving process simplification, automation, and responsible AI adoption to improve efficiency and enhance analytical value.

Job Description

Key Requirements for the Role

  • Lead end-to-end planning and analysis activities for US Corporate Functions and legal entities in scope.
  • Own the planning cycle, including headcount and external cost planning, variance analysis, and business performance insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities, including accruals, repostings, headcount changes, and closing commentary.
  • Manage intercompany cross-charges, statutory invoicing, entity profitability monitoring, and financial control activities.
  • Own cost object management, exception handling, and purchase order approvals within delegated authority.
  • Execute and validate master data changes, ensuring data quality and integrity across reporting structures.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and maintain a prioritised automation pipeline with measurable business benefits.
  • Design and implement automation solutions across planning, reporting, and close activities using digital tools.
  • Identify and implement responsible AI use cases to improve efficiency while ensuring compliance with data privacy and AI governance standards.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, lead and develop one Analyst, and maintain documentation, backup coverage, and audit readiness.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years CA/MBA
  • Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management activities.
  • Ability to perform variance analysis and provide clear, decision-ready financial insights.
  • Experience managing month-end close activities, including accruals, repostings, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of legal entity financial management, intercompany transactions, and statutory invoicing processes.
  • Experience in master data management, including hierarchies and cost centres.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills with global stakeholders.
  • Experience driving process improvement and simplification initiatives.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Strong focus on controls, documentation, audit readiness, and data quality.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience designing and implementing automation solutions using Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Experience identifying and implementing AI-enabled solutions for commentary drafting, anomaly detection, summarisation, and knowledge retrieval.
  • Experience rationalising reporting processes and developing self-service reporting solutions.
  • Experience measuring and reporting efficiency gains from automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to working within a global service delivery model involving multiple stakeholders and centres of expertise.
