Lead Product Designer

About the RoleThis is a high-ownership design leadership role at a fast-growing AI-powered B2B SaaS company serving SMEs across the DACH region and beyond. You'll own product design, branding, and design team leadership end-to-end — working directly alongside founders and engineering to shape the experience for thousands of European business customers across three core product areas.What You'll DoTake full ownership of product design, branding, and the design team, setting and maintaining design standards across all surfaces.Split your time roughly equally between hands-on design work and leading the team responsible for product design, website, and brand.Conduct regular customer interviews with SME users (e.g. tradespeople, medical practices, professional offices) and translate insights directly into design decisions.Own three product areas simultaneously, collaborating closely with product and engineering in tight feedback <loops.Build> and scale design systems to ensure consistency across multiple product <areas.Work> in an AI-first workflow, leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate prototyping and <design.Drive> a shipping-focused culture with daily releases and measurable design impact.What We're Looking For5+ years of hands-on product design experience with end-to-end ownership across multiple product areas.Native-level German fluency (essential for the DACH market) with good English for an international team.Demonstrated experience leading or managing a design team, or a strong, clear intent to step into team leadership.Proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and running user/customer interviews.Analytics-driven design mindset — you measure impact and iterate based on data.Experience building and maintaining design systems at scale across multiple product areas.Branding and website design experience, with the ability to own visual identity alongside product work.Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude, v0) to accelerate design and prototyping workflows.Background in B2B SaaS, professional services, or CRM-like environments is a plus.Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: €80,000 – €150,000 per year.
