About The Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Capability & Excellence Leader to join our Cummins Inc. team. The position will have the ability to work remotely in the United States, traveling approximately 10-15% of the time.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

Drive talent acquisition process excellence initiatives that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and candidate experience across the enterprise.

Lead change adoption strategies that accelerate successful implementation of talent acquisition technology, AI-driven solutions, and evolving compliance requirements.

Own the Talent Acquisition hiring manager capability strategy, including recruiting education requirements, adoption plans, resources, and effectiveness measures.

Establish and optimize standards, processes, tools, and governance frameworks that support scalable and compliant recruiting operations.

Leverage data insights, performance metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Partner across HR, business leaders, vendors, and external stakeholders to align talent acquisition capabilities with organizational priorities.

Replace with: Define TA capability requirements, partnering with HR Learning and Development teams to enable scalable learning solutions while ensuring alignment to Global TA operational needs and evolving AI capabilities.

Champion innovation by designing and implementing sustainable solutions that improve recruiting performance, quality, and business outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition operations, process optimization, and organizational change management, with the ability to drive measurable business results.
- Strong analytical and consulting capabilities, including the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders at all levels, and build partnerships that advance shared objectives.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience applying process excellence methodologies, leveraging technology, and fostering innovation in evolving environments.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, combined with a global perspective and commitment to inclusive, high-performing teams.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- A college or university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
- Certifications in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma are highly desirable.
- Serve as a trusted subject matter expert, guiding talent acquisition capability development through best practices, emerging trends, and operational excellence strategies.
- Own hiring manager readiness standards, recruiting guidance, and capability requirements, partnering with HR Learning teams to enable scalable learning solutions.
- Lead talent acquisition change management efforts related to technology implementations, AI advancements, policy updates, and legal or regulatory changes.
- Govern TA knowledge assets, playbooks, standards, and self-service resources and launch/own related global AI agents to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to ensure capability programs, service delivery expectations, and performance outcomes are effectively maintained.
- Apply data analytics, process excellence methodologies, and technology solutions to optimize work processes and strengthen business performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and accountability while supporting enterprise-wide talent acquisition objectives.
- Preferred experience within Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Quality, Data Analytics, or related disciplines with a proven record of delivering impactful solutions.
- Preferred proficiency in change management frameworks, process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, performance metrics, and stakeholder communications.
- Shift Requirements: Standard business hours with flexibility to support business needs; travel approximately 10-15% as needed.
