About The Role

This position is primarily responsible of machining all gates from the casting.
When casting is received from pre-inspection, visual check if all sell material has been removed, validates router.

Uses conventional milling machine to machine all gates from the casting as per requirements.
Uses required fixturing for the specific castings and inspects fixtures for damage and compliance.
Performs other duties as required.
Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to use measuring instruments.
Ability to use a conventional milling machine
Ability to handle hoists
Visual dexterity

Physical standing all day
Uses sound judgment

High School Diploma or equivalent machining training
