Director of Nursing

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and update care plans accordingly
• Ensure accurate documentation and review of medical records
• Uphold resident rights and promote a safe and caring environment

Experience

• Anatomy knowledge
• Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings
• Proficiency in developing care plans
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Background in acute care systems
• Knowledge of home health practices
• Ability to review documentation thoroughly
• Understanding of resident rights in healthcare facilities
