About The Role
Full-Time | Fixed-Term | HANZ Auckland Central Campus 
Please note this is a fixed-term opportunity covering maternity leave, ending in June 2027 . Immediately available candidates preferred. 
About the role: 
Working closely with the Strategic Relationships and Development Lead, you will coordinate the operational delivery of clinical placements across a wide range of private healthcare settings. 
You will be instrumental in ensuring the host provider partnerships are successfully supported through excellent coordination and communication. 
This is a fast-paced role requiring exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will work closely with healthcare providers, academic staff and students to ensure placements are coordinated efficiently, Nursing Council requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly. 
Key Responsibilities: 
- Coordinate clinical placements for nursing ākonga across a range of private healthcare settings, including student allocations, placement schedules and associated documentation. 
- Support the day-to-day management of established placement partnerships through regular communication with healthcare providers. 
- Provide operational support to the Strategic Relationships and Development Lead to ensure successful delivery of clinical placements. 
- Assist with preceptor training course enrolments. 
- Contribute to continuous improvement of placement processes and systems. 
- Uphold and promote the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori and culturally safe practice.

To be successful, you'll have: 
- Experience coordinating programmes, projects, services or schedules. 
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. 
- Strong relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills. 
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and databases or CRM systems. 
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. 
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. 
- A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes. 
- An understanding of, or commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally safe practice. 
- Experience in healthcare, tertiary education, workforce coordination or student placements would be advantageous but is not essential.
