About The Role

  • Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written specifications.
  • Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
  • Determines processing specifications such as materials, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
  • Examines finished work pieces and verifies conformance to quality standards
  • Mark identification material before or after processing, store material for additional processing, and/or shipping
  • Accurately completes work order paperwork/documentation
  • Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as
  • required
  • Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
  • Ability to perform program editing (speed, feed tools, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with Fanuc 18i control, Okuma, OSP, and Mazak
  • 1-2 years CNC experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Must pass background and drug screen
  • Must have steel toes, metatarsal guards, and safety glasses
