Transformer Electrical Component & Accessory Engineer

Job Description Summary

To execute the technical selection and electrical integration of all protection, measurement, monitoring, and insulation components in accordance with customer technical specifications, international standards (IEC, IEEE), and project budgets during the electrical design process of power transformers, while providing technical approval for the procurement process.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications from global clients or utilities to identify required transformer accessories and monitoring systems
• Support the Marshalling Kiosk (MK) design team to ensure all accessory wiring and terminal box allocations match the overall control schematics
• Prepare technical submittals and documentation (datasheets, wiring layouts, I/O signal lists) for client approval and internal production teams
• Basic knowledge of international transformer standards, specifically IEC 60076 and IEEE equivalents
• Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions.
• Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards
• Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field
• Comfortable writing technical reports
• Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
• Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli​
