About The Role

Job Overview

  • As a Foreman at Primoris Services Corporation, you will lead and supervise a crew of workers, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
  • Job Responsibilities:**
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a construction crew, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance.
  • Enforce all company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Manage and track equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and progress.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering a productive and skilled workforce.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, including crew hours, equipment usage, and progress updates.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably with experience relevant to Primoris Services Corporation's project types.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a construction crew.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with construction work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or trade school certification is a plus.
