The Assistant Wellness Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of sales strategies to maximize revenue and business opportunities for the Resort’s wellness and spa operations. The position focuses on driving wellness treatment, membership, package, and related service sales while building strong relationships with hotel guests, members, corporate clients, travel partners, and local communities.

The role works closely with the Wellness/Spa, Marketing, Rooms, and other operational teams to ensure effective sales conversion, excellent guest experiences, and achievement of revenue targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Wellness Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans to achieve wellness and spa revenue targets.
  • Drive sales of spa treatments, wellness programs, memberships, packages, promotions, and other wellness-related products and services.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments to increase wellness revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, corporate accounts, hotel guests, members, travel agencies, and wellness partners.
  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, site inspections, and networking activities to generate new business.
  • Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, quotations, proposals, and potential business opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the development of corporate wellness programs, partnerships, membership initiatives, and special packages to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute wellness campaigns, promotions, events, and sales initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Spa/Wellness Operations team to ensure promotions and packages are commercially viable and operationally well executed.
  • Monitor sales performance, revenue results, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and other relevant sales KPIs.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, business updates, and performance analyses for management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, wellness concepts, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with Anantara and Minor Hotels standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Build strong internal relationships with relevant departments to maximize cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Sales, Wellness Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the luxury hotel, spa, wellness, hospitality, fitness, lifestyle, or related industry.
  • Previous experience in spa/wellness sales, membership sales, corporate sales, hotel sales, or luxury service sales is highly desirable.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets, developing new accounts, and managing client relationships.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a genuine interest in wellness, spa, lifestyle, and hospitality.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and convert leads into revenue.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of revenue-generation principles.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and business performance.
  • Proactive, energetic, target-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant sales systems.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
