About The Role

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by promptly assisting patrons, preparing and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming bar experience. This role ensures the bar area remains clean, organized, and fully stocked while accurately handling cash and processing transactions. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to respond efficiently to guests' needs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
  • Demonstrate accurate free-pouring techniques with consistent shot measurements.
  • Possess a working knowledge of flair bartending, including basic bottle flipping.
  • Assist with approved fire-related bar presentations while adhering to all safety and certification requirements.
  • Perform choreographed singing and dancing routines as required.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional guest service in accordance with Spotlight on Service standards.
  • Retrieve beverages and supplies from storage areas and transport them to designated bars using carts and dollies.
  • Stock bars with ice, beer, liquor, glassware, and other necessary supplies.
  • Change soda syrup (BIBs), liquor bottles, and beer kegs as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including scrubbing, mopping, power washing floors and mats, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Safely push and maneuver carts, dollies, garbage containers, and other equipment throughout the property.
  • Operate a portable bar cart while providing exceptional service and processing beverage sales within the High Roller cabins and throughout the High Roller facility.
  • Cleans all assigned rooms to company standard within designated work period
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Minimum of three months of experience as a Bar Porter preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Meet attendance expectations and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Possess a valid Health Card.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous cash-handling and beverage service experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100-120 pounds and push loaded carts weighing up to 650 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, pulling, lifting, and carrying of bar stock, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity required for preparing and serving beverages, operating bar equipment, and performing cleaning duties.
  • Ability to complete cash-handling transactions and related documentation accurately.
  • Ability to safely operate bar and service equipment, including cash registers, carts, beverage dispensing systems, blenders, coffee and frozen drink machines, ice machines, and beer, wine, juice, and soda hook-ups.
  • Ability to effectively respond to visual and auditory cues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a casino and hospitality environment with exposure to secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lighting, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
